Eunice Lu

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

  • Eunice graduated from the University of Sydney with a Masters of Physiotherapy and she has also completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC).She has moved back to Vancouver to be closer to her family and friends after studying and working in Sydney, Australia for the past 3 years.

    She is passionate about helping people obtain an active, independent, and healthy lifestyle by applying evidence-based practice knowledge with manual therapy and exercise prescription.

    Prior to pursuing her interest in becoming a physiotherapist, she has worked in a multidisciplinary physiotherapy clinic as a clinical kinesiologist for 5 years. As a clinical kinesiologist, she has worked on implementing rehabilitation programs with various strengthening and stretching exercises in assisting patients return to work and return to sports.

    When she isn’t at work, she likes to go for outdoor hikes, watch Netflix, and explore new restaurants in the neighbourhood!

Jared Wong

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Jared Liam Wong (He/Him) is a registered massage therapist who offers treatments that integrates both manual therapy and body awareness. He obtained his Massage Therapy Diploma from West Coast College of Massage Therapy where he completed 3000 hours of diversified hands-on training with patients from different backgrounds and injuries. He has had the opportunity of treating competitive athletes, and also patients in rehabilitation hospitals and palliative care.

    Jared's purpose is to help people heal. He believes in and practices a realistic, methodical, holistic approach. He is thorough in assessing his patients, spends the time in identifying and treating problem areas. In his treatments, you will find him working with your breathing, which can calm down the nervous-system and provide an even more effective release, while simultaneously bringing more awareness to the body. For preventive-care, he will also provide you with patient education and exercises to make treatment results more effective and last longer.

    Outside of the clinic you can find Jared self-caring, his favorite go-to’s are massages, sauna and cold plunges, and yoga. He also loves spending time with his two dogs Bella and Giorgio. In the summer you can find him cruising on his electric longboard, exploring new places to stand up paddle board, occasional hikes with epic views, and golfing with friends. In the winter Jared enjoys training muay thai and snowboarding fresh powder on the mountains. He believes in living your best life with purpose and dreams to travel the world.

Wyman Li

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Wyman completed the registered massage therapy program at Langara College. He participates in a variety of sports including weightlifting, badminton, and football. Wyman has experienced multiple sports-related injuries. This sparked an interest in massage therapy where he can educate and treat people to improve their health and well-being.

    Wyman’s treatments consists of trigger point release, myofascial, joint mobilization, stretching, and Swedish massage.

    Aside from massage therapy, Wyman enjoys weightlifting, venturing around Vancouver, and trying new restaurants.

Zach Hewko

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Hello, I’m Zach and I am proud to be a Registered Massage Therapist at Modern Wellness.

    I grew up in Kitsilano Vancouver but moved to Richmond 7 years ago. Throughout my education I had a passion for sports, rehab and anatomy. Growing up playing hockey, baseball and soccer led me to wanting a career in rehabilitation. I still play soccer to this day and I am a lifelong fan of the Vancouver Canucks.

    I've met a lot of injuries over the years and received an assortment of help and rehab myself. Getting to see first hand how trained professionals can help with injuries was very inspiring.

    Working as an RMT has provided me the toolset and environment to fully realize these passions. I completed my 3,000 hour RMT program in August 2017 and I hope to see many patients and help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

    Outside of the clinical setting I enjoy playing soccer, doing various mobility and movement activities and HIIT workouts, and cold plunges for self-care!

Dr. Cammy Wu

ACUPUNCTURIST (DTCM & R.AC)

  • Cammy believes Acupuncture/Cupping should be experienced by everyone at least once as it can bring new awareness to a different way of healing both physical and emotional pain. She enjoys treating with a more Sports Medicine style of needling, but also loves introducing first time acupuncture patients to a gentler experience if preferred.

    Her main areas of focus are Pain Management, Digestive issues, Gynecological disorders, and Cosmetic/Facial Acupuncture.

    Cammy graduated from the Doctorate program at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and had the privilege of completing her practicum at the Tzu Chi General Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan.

Sarra Leung

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Sarra completed the Registered Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2019. Coming from a competitive swimming background, she noticed the benefits and positive outcomes of massage therapy, thus inspiring her to pursue a career as an RMT. Whether the intention is ongoing maintenance or a road to recovery from an accident, she aims to help her clients achieve these goals.

    Her treatments consist of a combination of PNF stretching, Swedish massage, neuromuscular techniques and joint mobilizations.

    In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, badminton, frisbee, and spoiling her dog.

Ellis Cheng

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Ellis Cheng, RMT made a switch in career paths from sales in a software tech company to registered massage therapy, because he wanted to be more involved with helping everyone he meets. As an RMT, he get to take his time to assist, build trust, assess and understand the individuals who are coming into the clinic looking for solutions to help manage their aches and pains.

    His practice incorporates: general Swedish massage, trigger points release, pin and stretch and passive stretching into the treatment plan.

    Outside of work Ellis enjoys practicing Kendo, a Japanese sword martial art, at UBC. He has been practicing Kendo for over 9 years and is currently helping out training new members with his knowledge in kendo and the education received in massage therapy in regards to the biomechanics of the body.

    On his spare time he enjoys spending time with his husky Thor, listening to music, gaming, travelling (favorite place is Tokyo), and eating good food like BBQ and pasta!

Shivas Singh

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Shivas has completed his diploma in massage therapy from Vancouver Career College. His tenacity and adeptness in learning and understanding the human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system have become one of his strongest qualities.

    Shivas takes a patient-centred approach when treating patients who present with various conditions, such as a wide variety of sports injuries, work-related injuries, and other ailments. He also provides comprehensive treatment plans with the main focus on rehabilitation and self-care. Sharing his knowledge and insight that may help the community, through massage and rehabilitation.

    Shivas aims to help you with pain management and normal recovery by restoring day-to-day activities to help them get back to doing what enjoy most.

    Outside of studying and treating clients Shivas enjoys hiking, snowboarding, weightlifting, kickboxing, and cycling.

Jamie Wong

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

  • Jamie received her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and her Bachelor of Science in Honours Biophysics from the University of British Columbia.

    Jamie has worked with a wide variety of patient populations and enjoys working with people of all ages.

    Her treatment approach includes a combination of manual therapy, active rehabilitation, and patient education. She strongly believes that a client’s journey to recovery starts with setting realistic, individualized goals and having a positive mindset. She encourages clients to be active throughout the rehabilitation process, and ways to remain active even after their recovery.

    Apart from treating general orthopaedic conditions, Jamie has interests in the management of:

    • vertigo/dizziness

    • glenohumeral/shoulder joint

    • low back

    • knee injury

    Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, going for walks, and spending time with her family/friends.

Jacqueline Chan

KINESIOLOGIST | ACTIVE REHAB SPECIALIST

  • Jackie Chan is a Registered Kinesiologist through BCAK, completing her Diploma of Kinesiology at Langara College before finishing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia.

    As a former youth figure skating athlete, she experienced many different injuries which is what sparked her lifelong passion for movement and rehabilitation. Jackie focuses on creating strong foundations of movement in order to rehabilitate or reduce risk of injury. During her treatments, she will thoroughly evaluate where your current quality of movement is and assess any imbalances that may be present to provide effective exercise prescription. She is passionate about helping individuals return to their daily activities of living through movement and active rehabilitation.

    Outside of the workplace, you will probably find Jackie strength training at the gym or at the dog park with her dog Timbit. She also enjoys baking cookies and walks by the dyke!

Wayne Tan 

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Wayne graduated from the University of British Columbia with his bachelors of Kinesiology in 2017 and completed his Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) training at Langara College in 2021. Wayne’s studies during undergrad focused on biomechanics and injury prevention, which lead to an interest in manual therapy to provide a holistic treatment approach. At Langara, Wayne had the opportunity to work with recreational and professional athletes, and patients with spinal cord injuries at ICORD. Wayne was a competitive long-distance swimmer and played American football; he currently enjoys weight training and has a keen interest in strength sports.

Barbara Anne Isaac

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Barbara Anne is passionate about movement, connection, natural health and a balanced lifestyle.

    She works with each client’s individual needs to help them continue to perform activities that bring them joy and purpose to their everyday life.

    With her strong background in classical ballet and her daily practice of a fusion of stretching, Pilates and Yoga you can expect that you will be talking about how to incorporate a movement practice into your daily routine, creating more freedom of movement, less pain and a greater sense of body awareness.

    Barbara Anne graduated from Vancouver’s West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1996. Over the course of her career she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients dealing with both chronic and acute conditions from the young athlete to the elderly.

    Her passion lies in working with individuals who are willing to take control of their health and well being. She believes in patient centered care and strives to provide a treatment that meets each patients individual goals and needs both through rehabilitative and relaxation treatments.

Min Park

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Min Park moved to Vancouver from Seoul, Korea to study English and quickly fell in love with BC’s beautiful West Coast.

    During Min's time here, he was soon introduced to massage therapy and fascinated by the holistic healing benefits it has to offer. From then on, he knew that massage therapy was a profession in healthcare he wanted to pursue as a career. Min is reputable for his strength and skill in the treatment room.

    Min’s treatments reflect his belief in the harmony of the body and the mind. While helping you heal through manual therapy, Min also focuses on the restorative power of the breath to help you recover. With his thorough knowledge of anatomy and soft tissue injuries he ensures that all his patients are in the best hands.

    Enjoying fitness himself, Min understands the importance of health and movement for your body. He has had extensive experience working with high-performance clients in the dance and rock-climbing world, and aims to get his clients back to what they enjoy doing most pain-free.

    When Min is not in the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting, visiting the local trails, exploring the city and nature, and having a good barbecue with his friends! He also likes to travel, the last place he had a chance to visit was Cebu, Philippines, and for early next year he has an upcoming trip to Bali, Indonesia.

Enoch Lam

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Enoch graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. He has previously worked as a Bodyworker, a Personal Trainer, and as a Physiotherapist Assistant while studying Health Sciences and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University.

    Through his experience and knowledge in the healthcare and fitness industry, Enoch’s main priority is to help patients along their journey of achieving a pain free lifestyle. Whether patients are experiencing muscular tension, pain, postural or joint issues, headaches, or movement restrictions, Enoch will utilize his skillset to develop a personalized treatment plan for every one of his patients.

    Enoch has a passion for living an active lifestyle. He loves playing basketball, volleyball, and weight lifting in his free time. Outside of sports, Enoch also likes to spend time with his dogs and explore new places to eat.

Jillian Dee

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Jillian graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2022. She had gained a wide variety of experiences with chronic conditions and injuries during the program due to having treated patients in palliative care, athletes and patients undergoing pregnancy.

    Before becoming an RMT, she was taking the Kinesiology program at Langara College for 1.5 years as part of the journey to become a physiotherapist until she realized massage therapy was truly more of her calling. However before going back to the road to schooling, Jillian used to be a chef for a couple of years working in restaurants in Vancouver and Spain.

    She is passionate about helping patients reach their goals by creating a treatment plan specific to their individual needs, aiming to improve on their overall wellbeing and enjoyment in life. Jillian enjoys incorporating General Swedish Massage, neuromuscular + myofascial techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching and joint mobilization into her treatments.

    Outside of clinic life, Jillian enjoys spending time with her dogs, cooking and baking new recipes, playing video games and weight-lifting at the gym.

Danny Vu

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Danny graduated from Langara College in 2019, being an active individual who is enthusiastic about combat sports and many other sports. With that interest, it has brought him awareness in the common injuries that come along with living an active lifestyle.

    His style of treatment consists of active techniques combined with general Swedish techniques, together the pair helps calm the nervous system while simultaneously improving circulation to areas that feel restricted.

    Danny is also Level 1 Certified for Neurokinetic and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques.

    On Danny’s off-time, you can find him seeking adventure and often enjoys off-roading and truck camping. Some of his favorite ways to stay moving are basketball, swimming, combat sports, snowboarding, and biking!

Sam McQueen

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

  • Sam is a recent graduate of the Langara Registered Massage Therapy program. Before going back to school Sam was a Personal Trainer for 10 years working with a variety of clients from athletes to weekend warriors, to seniors. Sam was able to gain valuable hands-on experience from the Langara Student Clinic as well as at a Senior Center and Harbour Dance Studio. Trained in techniques such as Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point and Joint Mobilizations, Sam will use a combination of these to help you achieve optimal functioning. With his background in Personal Training and the knowledge acquired from school, Sam will work with you to create a homecare program that can further help you achieve your goals.

    In his free time, Sam enjoys working out, playing sports, traveling and watching good stand-up comedy.
