Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment where a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) manipulates the soft tissues (muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments) of your body using a variety of techniques to alleviate pain, decrease muscle tension, improve blood flow, increase mobility/range of motion, and promote healing. Our team of RMTs are educated healthcare professionals that assess and treat a wide range of injuries with a variety of proven, effective techniques. Massage Therapy can be used for pain and tension management to help aid recovery of soft-tissue related injuries. Massage can be very beneficial for our well-being can calm our nervous systems and provide relaxation. Some of the techniques you may expect but not limited to are: General Swedish Massage, and other manual therapy modalities such as: trigger point release, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, muscle energy technique and passive stretching.
